Ekedal Concrete, a highly successful contractor for over 40 years, is growing and has an immediate need to add a Concrete Superintendent to their team. This is an attractive opportunity to join an award-winning contractor.

Ekedal Concrete seeks a hands-on Superintendent to lead field crews on large, residential projects in Orange County, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while coordinating with clients and managing schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Superintendent in concrete construction.
• Expertise with architectural concrete.
• Broad understanding of on-site inspection, contract documents, scheduling, budgets/costs, progress reporting and closeout.
• Strong leadership to supervise team members and sub-contractors.
• Ability to interface with clients and resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sequence of work; plan schedules; organize layout to meet contract docs.
• Supervise field workforce to deliver work cost-efficiently.
• Procure tools and materials to align with schedules.
• Inspect and supervise work to ensure conformance with specs and timelines.
• Establish means, methods, and schedule for scope of work.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety standards.
