Job summary

Leola Construction is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to lead residential slab and post‑tension foundation work, directing crews and subcontractors with accountability and a focus on quality, schedule, and budget. This hands‑on role covers multiple subdivisions with training provided as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in concrete supervision, strong communication, and a solid grasp of site safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of concrete superintendent or foreman experience in residential construction, production homebuilder experience preferred.
• Post‑tension slab systems knowledge including cable layout, stressing, and inspection requirements.
• Familiarity with Texas soil conditions and foundation methods addressing them.
• Valid driver’s license; OSHA 10‑hour certification preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and hold accountable concrete crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and a safe jobsite.
• Oversee daily concrete operations across multiple residential jobsites, including slab-on-grade and post‑tension pours.
• Manage all phases of slab construction to keep quality, schedule, and budget on track.
• Coordinate with builder superintendents, post‑tension engineers, ready‑mix suppliers, pump operators, and subcontractor crews.
• Conduct site inspections and progress reviews to identify issues before they impact the pour.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local codes and engineer specs.
• Provide detailed daily updates, photos, and reports to project managers and office staff.
