Southland Holdings is seeking a Concrete Superintendent in El Paso, TX to lead on-site concrete operations and coordinate with project teams. The role emphasizes safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost control while guiding foremen and crews to meet project milestones.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, managing resources, and driving project plans with the Project Manager. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in overseeing large-scale pipeline projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete installation techniques, equipment, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office programs

Responsibilities

• Supervise all phases of concrete installation, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve issues
• Interpret and apply concrete principles such as mix designs, curing, formwork, and finishing; monitor compliance with specs and safety
• Interpret project schedule and communicate changes effectively
• Understand and manage project budget and control field costs
• Teach and train foreman and crew leaders at lower levels
• Develop project plan with Project Manager and drive milestones
• Provide day-to-day on-site direction and ensure teams have resources to meet goals
• Manage change orders and project adjustments throughout the course of the project
