Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to lead all field concrete operations across Hawaii projects, including foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and decks. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and craft personnel to maintain safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires deep concrete construction expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage formwork, reinforcement, and finishing activities while ensuring compliance with EM 385-1-1

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction with at least 5 years as a superintendent or similar leadership role on large projects.
• Extensive concrete construction experience: cast-in-place, formwork, reinforcing steel, finishing.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling, and field operations.
• Familiar with EM 385-1-1 and hazard safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings.
• Proven leadership of craft personnel, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring, training, supervision, and performance management of field staff.
• Direct all concrete construction activities including foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and decks.
• Assist PMs/PEs with scheduling and coordination; ensure work adheres to plans and specs.
• Provide guidance on concrete methods, sequencing, productivity, and progress.
• Schedule subcontractor work and monitor performance for quality and timelines.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and formwork; manage resources.
