Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in Newberry, Florida is seeking a Production Control Supervisor to oversee daily shift activities, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and operate plant lines from a central location. You will lead a team, coach performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining product quality of cement, clinker, and raw mix.

This role requires rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years of control room experience in the industry or similar.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
• Ability to operate process computers and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership for the shift and ensure environmental compliance.
• Lead safety efforts and coach shift employees.
• Manage shift performance and feedback cycles.
• Troubleshoot, make operational decisions, and drive improvement.
• Ensure consistent production of cement, clinker, and raw mix within quality guidelines.
• Analyze equipment performance for reliability and quality.
• Maintain SOPs and shift logs, including downtime and quality.
• Complete the Control Room Operator Certification and train staff.
• Manage resources and coordinate call-outs and contractors.
• Serve as senior site leader during off-hours and communicate across shifts.
