Job summary

The Ravin Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a hands-on Concrete Foreman to oversee daily construction activities and lead a small field crew. You will coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, safety, quality, and production while collaborating with project leadership.

This role targets candidates with 2–5 years of experience who can lead a crew of about 4–6 employees and contribute to field operations and on-site problem solving.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction experience preferred.
• Experience leading a small crew of 4–6 employees.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand basic construction practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily work activities for an assigned construction scope.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed for upcoming work.
• Assign tasks and communicate daily expectations to crew members.
• Monitor production, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate activities with other trades and project personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower records, and production information.
• Identify and address jobsite hazards and reinforce safety procedures.
• Participate in hands‑on construction activities when needed.
• Coach and develop less‑experienced team members.
• Communicate project updates, challenges, and resource needs to project leadership.
