Job summary

Byrne & Jones Construction seeks a Concrete Foreman to lead the on-site concrete crew, ensuring work aligns with blueprints, safety standards, and project timelines.

The role supervises laborers and finishers, coordinates pours, maintains equipment, and communicates with project managers to keep milestones on track. Candidates need 3–5 years in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in supervision, and a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of concrete construction experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to read blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Travel of at least 20% is required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the concrete team, including laborers, carpenters, and finishers; assign tasks and ensure quality.
• Plan and schedule pours, formwork, reinforcement, and finishing; ensure resources and equipment are ready.
• Monitor concrete work to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and company safety policies on-site.
• Manage materials, tools, and inventory; ensure on-time delivery of supplies.
• Coordinate with project managers to place orders and manage inventory.
• Keep the crew on schedule to meet deadlines.
• Provide updates to project managers and report delays or issues.
