Job summary

Moyle Construction in Houghton, MI seeks a Concrete Foreman to lead a crew, oversee field operations, and ensure quality and safety on every project. You will manage projects from start to finish, read blueprints, schedule work, monitor progress, enforce safety, and travel across the Upper Peninsula as needed.

We offer $30–$40 per hour with overtime, discretionary bonus, health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, a company vehicle with fuel card, per diem for out-of-town work,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of concrete foundation, specialty concrete, wall form systems, and flat work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team of 6–10.
• Ability to read and interpret project blueprints and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel across the Upper Peninsula as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee concrete field operations to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage projects from start to finish per blueprints, codes, and specs.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor progress to keep projects on track.
• Enforce safety regulations and best practices to protect the crew.
• Assist in estimating and bidding on new projects.
• Visit project sites across the Upper Peninsula; travel as required.
