Job summary

Rice Companies is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher for our Mankato, MN location. This hands-on role requires finishing concrete surfaces, reading blueprints, and coordinating placement on commercial/industrial projects. You will also assist in leading self-performing concrete activities and training team members.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of concrete construction experience, strong form setting, and power trowel operation. Travel may be required, and a valid license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of concrete construction experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting specifications.
• Ability to lay out work, read elevations, and place forms in a commercial/industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Place, screed, float, trowel, broom, and cut concrete daily.
• Operate screeds and use vibratory screeds as needed.
• Install rebar and set forms; read blueprints and specifications.
• Quality control during pouring operations and curing processes.
• Coordinate placement of concrete and assist with training employees.
