Job summary

BCI Construction INC in Sauk Rapids, MN is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our growing team in central Minnesota. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and hands-on concrete work on commercial projects.

You will prepare surfaces, form and finish flatwork and foundations, read plans, mentor trainees, and collaborate with field leaders and subcontractors to meet project goals. A high school diploma and 5+ years of commercial concrete experience are required, with CDL/OSHA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with commercial concrete.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Health card for commercial vehicle needs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Comply with BCI site safety first and foremost.
• Lead crews with field leadership and subcontractors to achieve construction goals.
• Receive direction from concrete foreman and mentor those working with you.
• Prepare surfaces for concrete work – i.e. final grading.
• Concrete layout activities. Establish elevations from benchmarks for top of wall/column/slab.
• Forming & grading of flatwork and foundations; footing/form assembly.
• Pour & finish to project specs – flatwork & foundations.
• Read plans and specifications to ensure compliance with architectural/engineering drawings.
• Perform QA/QC practices to meet project specs and quality workmanship.
• Supplemental work includes light carpentry and selective demolition.
• Verify materials reflect approved submittals and drawings.
