Job summary

BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our growing team in central Minnesota.

Headquartered in Sauk Rapids, MN, we specialize in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction, and value a strong culture and growth opportunities. The role involves forming, placing, and finishing concrete from footings to flatwork, collaborating with project teams, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
5+ years of experience with Commercial Concrete required.
As a BCI authorized driver, you must comply with all applicable DOT regulations, including medical and drug evaluations required to obtain and a DOT health card.
Valid driver's license.
OSHA 30 or OSHA 10 preferred.
Valid CDL License preferred.
Procore Experience preferred.
Total Station Experience preferred.
ACI Certification preferred.
ADA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Comply with BCI site safety first and foremost.
Collaborate with Field Leadership and subcontractors to understand daily construction activities and assignments, to lead crews to execute construction goals.
Receive direction from concrete foreman, while training and mentoring those working with you.
Prepare surfaces for concrete work, e.g. final grading.
Concrete layout activities and elevations from benchmarks for walls, columns, slabs.
Forming and fine grading of flatwork and sub-grade.
Forming and assembly of footing/foundation forms.
Pour and finish to project specifications for flatwork and foundations.
Understand plans and specifications; ensure adherence to architectural/engineering requirements.
Implement QA/QC practices to meet project specs and quality craftsmanship.
Support supplemental work in light carpentry and selective demolition.
Verify materials reflect submittals and align with shop drawings.
