Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies is hiring a Project Manager for County Prestress in Thompson, Ohio. The role directs concrete formwork and structural projects, coordinating with general contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.

The PM manages schedules, cost controls, and reporting; reviews drawings; and drives client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Travel up to 50% may be required as projects progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience (concrete, formwork, or structural preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety, and project lifecycle
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• OSHA 30 certification required or to be obtained within first year
• Experience with concrete formwork systems, shoring, and structural builds

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of concrete formwork, shoring, and structural projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost controls, and reporting
• Oversee project estimating, scheduling, and installation phases
• Conduct jobsite inspections and audits for safety, quality, and compliance
• Review shoring systems, rebar placement, and post-tensioning installations
• Monitor adherence to OSHA safety standards and best practices
• Interpret and review structural and architectural drawings
• Collaborate with general contractors, engineers, and design teams
• Coordinate and finalize precast and shop drawings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams
• Lead scope reviews, design meetings, and client presentations
• Mentor, coach, and develop project teams
• Oversee change orders and ensure timely execution
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial performance
