Responsibilities

• Review upcoming reservations and guest profiles to identify opportunities for personalized service and recognition.

• Design and coordinate customized dining, golf, spa, entertainment, transportation, and local experiences.
• Train and coach Concierge colleagues on local knowledge, departmental procedures, and service standards.

In addition, the Lead Concierge provides daily operational guidance, coaching, and support to the Concierge team to ensure consistent service excellence.PAY & PERKSCompensation: $27.25 - $28.25 DOE**Earn $1000 for Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and $350 for all other roles for each hired referral at any Evans Hotels property.Discounted Hotel Rooms for you, family and friends.Free Employee Parking and/or discounted MTS Pronto card.Free Meals & Refreshments during working shifts.Career advancement opportunities!Health (including SIMNSA), Dental, Vision, 401k with match, life insurance, sick and vacation time.Discounts on cell phone bills, shoes, gym memberships, and more!ESSENTIAL DUTIESReview upcoming reservations and guest profiles to identify opportunities for personalized service and recognition.Conduct pre-arrival outreach to learn guest preferences, interests, special occasions, and travel plans.Design and coordinate customized dining, golf, spa, entertainment, transportation, and local experiences.Manage guest requests and special arrangements, ensuring timely follow-through and resolution.Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, requests, and experience details for future recognition.Develop relationships with local restaurants, attractions, and hospitality partners to expand guest offerings.Collaborate closely with the Guest Services Manager and Front Office leadership team to coordinate guest needs, special arrangements, and seamless service delivery.Assist with Concierge scheduling and coordinate daily assignments, priorities, and operational coverage.Train and coach Concierge colleagues on local knowledge, departmental procedures, and service standards.Monitor pre-arrival planning, reservations, guest arrangements, and outstanding requests for accuracy and completion.Address routine operational challenges and communicate service concerns or training needs to departmental leadership.Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling guest information and VIP requests.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.QUALIFICATIONSAt least 2 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Concierge, guest relations, VIP services, or a similar environment preferred.Previous similar position in a luxury or upscale hotel, or similar business entity preferred.Membership in or pursuit of Les Clefs d'Or or similar professional Concierge organizations is a plus.Experience running shifts, scheduling, performance management, problem-solving, guest servicing and running day-to-day operations.Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.Strong knowledge of San Diego and Southern California dining, golf, entertainment, attractions, and local experiences.Proficiency with hotel systems, reservation platforms, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.**The pay scale posted is the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position during the first year of employment.
