Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics is seeking a senior member to plan and develop an in-silico platform for antibody and protein engineering, collaborating across the group and company. You will create workflows for de novo design and lead cross-functional teams to advance projects.

The role emphasizes independent design, data integration, and ongoing learning of computational methods, with responsibility for supervision and strategic input.

Qualifications

• PhD in structural bioinformatics, molecular biology, bioengineering, biophysics, computational biology, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise with protein and antibody modeling, including antigen-antibody interactions.
• Publications in protein prediction or de novo design, including antibody/enzyme engineering.

Responsibilities

• Independently designs and develops an in-silico platform for antibody and protein engineering.
• Develops pipelines for protein structure determination using AI methods (Rosetta, AlphaFold).
• Develops docking and epitope mapping pipelines for antibodies.
• Leads a technical team to implement computational pipelines in protein design or prediction.
• Presents findings to management and cross-functional teams with recommendations.
