Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Compounding to join our Pharmacy team and support sterile preparation, labeling, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals in our city, state branch.

You will work under the Pharmacy Manager, handling aseptic compounding, documentation, and compliance with USP 797/800, OSHA, FDA, and other regulations. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Formación

• Completed an approved Pharmacy Technician training program.
• State license as a Pharmacy Technician in practice state.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification as required by the state board.
• 1–3 years of related pharmacy experience, preferably in home care or hospital setting.
• At least 1 year of aseptic preparation of infusion-related pharmaceuticals.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and schedules the preparation of sterile mixtures with the Pharmacist.
• Completes all calculations on product preparation as necessary.
• Compounds sterile and non-sterile mixtures including parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, chemotherapy and hydration.
• Ensures clean room areas and equipment are cleaned and maintained per USP 797/800 standards.
• Documents activities on logs and participates in quality improvement activities.
