Job summary

Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Compounding for our Englewood, CO location. The role supports sterile and non-sterile preparation, labeling, and dispensing of infusion medications under the Pharmacist.

Expect to work a Mon-Sat shift 10:00am-6:30pm, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and more. Prior IV certification and a valid state license are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician program; IV certification preferred.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license required by state.
• National Certification as required by state board of pharmacy.
• 1–3 years pharmacy experience in home care, retail or hospital settings preferred.
• Experience with aseptic preparation of infusion-related pharmaceuticals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preparation of sterile mixtures and home medical equipment orders with pharmacist.
• Complete calculations for product preparation as needed.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile mixtures using aseptic technique where permitted by state law.
• Maintain clean room and equipment per USP 797/800 and company policies.
• Document all activities on logs and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Comply with accreditation, OSHA, FDA and regulatory requirements.
