Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Lead Compounder for the Bronx, NY facility. This union position offers a 5x8 shift and compensation of $25.00 per hour. The role involves preparing batches from master formulas, weighing materials, and ensuring log records are accurate.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, operating kettles/pumps, following SOPs, and cooperating with QA inspectors. A safety-focused, detail-oriented candidate with English literacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of compounding experience preferred.
• Must be able to read English, sign batch records and log entries after each step as required.
• Must be able to lift materials/equipment weighing between 25–50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear full/half face respirator.

Responsibilities

• Compound batches following the master formula and sign off records.
• Weigh raw materials and monitor batch procedures.
• Set up equipment and operate kettles and pumps.
• Follow SOPs for manufacturing and cooperate with QA inspectors.
• Maintain and sign batch records and log entries.
