Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Lead Compounder for the 2nd shift at our Bronx, NY facility. This is a union position with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour on a 4x10 schedule. You will compound batches, follow SOPs, record logs, and coordinate with operators and QA to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires basic English literacy to read batch records and operate safely with equipment and PPE. Candidates must be able to lift 25–50 lbs and work per SOPs, maintaining clean, accurate batch documentation.

Qualifications

• One year of compounding experience preferred.
• Must be able to read English and sign batch records.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and wear respirator.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions.
• Follow all SOPs for MFG/Compounding.
• Complete set-ups of equipment to be used for manufacturing.
• Compound batches from copy of master formula.
• Weigh raw materials, monitor procedures, run kettles, pumps and move materials.
• Sign batch records and log entries.
• Cooperate with QA inspectors.
• Follow all safety rules, company policies and procedures.
• Maintain daily professional work relations with division staff.
• Review activity of compounders/set-up operators to ensure all work is properly completed.
