Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of resin/matrix types for aircraft tooling and parts.
• Experience with press operations, autoclave and oven vacuum bag processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and business programs.
• Familiarity with Catia or Surfcam is a plus.
• Attention to detail for accurate, timely completion of jobs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Direct supervisory or technical management experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project management and daily supervision of an expanding composites department.
• Identify and ensure resources are assigned to product/projects to ensure design control, company goals, and customer needs are met.
• Report on performance and maintain a budget for the composite department.
• Supervise layups, vacuum bagging, oven, autoclave processing and operation of hydraulic presses and related equipment.
• Identify customer needs and develop effective solutions while working in a team environment.
