GE Vernova in Greenville, NC is seeking a Lead Analysis Engineer to own material characterization and forensic analysis for wind turbine blade materials. You will work with design teams to evaluate solutions that improve structural performance and manufacturability, while supporting RCA activities with deep analytical insights.

You will operate SEM, FTIR, viscometers and other rheological equipment, interpret complex datasets, and mentor colleagues.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in composites with material characterization/analytical chemistry.
• Willing to travel globally up to 10% of the time.

Aufgaben

• Characterize and analyze composite materials and resins to support blade development.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve material solutions for performance and manufacturability.
• Resolve factory quality issues via advanced material characterization.
• Operate and maintain SEM, FTIR, viscometers, and rheological equipment.
• Explain complex data to peers and contribute to RCA activities with forensic material data.
• Own analysis projects end-to-end from sample prep to final reporting.
