Job summary

Dominique Dawes Academy seeks a Competitive Head Coach to lead and develop our competitive gymnastics program at the Ashburn location. You will serve as the lead coach for up to two teams, support athlete development across levels, and help train Team Coaches while aligning with our mission to develop happy, active, and strong kids.

You will collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Team to maintain program quality, lead meet preparation, and ensure safe, progressive skill development

Qualifications

• Experience and ability to develop athletes across competitive levels.
• Strong coaching leadership and ability to mentor other coaches.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with athletes and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead as head coach for up to two competitive teams; provide coaching support for additional teams as needed.
• Lead meet preparation and competition strategy to support progression from recreational to competitive levels.
• Monitor athlete progression and communicate with families consistently.
• Coordinate Team Coach schedules and provide technical guidance and feedback.
