Job summary

Dominique Dawes Gymnastics Academy in Ashburn, VA, is seeking a Competitive Head Coach to lead and develop our competitive gymnastics program. You will serve as lead coach for assigned teams, support athlete progression, and mentor other Team Coaches.

This role collaborates with the General Manager and Director of Team to maintain program quality, plan seasonal training, coordinate meet preparation, and oversee team communications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience coaching competitive gymnastics.
• Ability to mentor coaches and lead team development.
• Strong communication with athletes and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead coach for up to two competitive teams and support additional teams.
• Lead meet preparation and competition strategy for athletes.
• Monitor skill progression and readiness across levels.
• Maintain safety, spotting, and injury-prevention standards.
• Coordinate Team Coach schedules and family communications.
