Job summary

Dominique Dawes Academy in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Competitive Head Coach to lead and develop the competitive gymnastics program across teams. You will serve as lead coach for up to two teams, mentor Team Coaches, and collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Team to maintain high-quality standards and a positive team culture.

The role emphasizes program leadership, athlete development, safety, and seasonal planning, with involvement in meets, training plans, and family

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years coaching a competitive gymnastics team.
Experience with USA Gymnastics DP and/or Xcel programs.
Strong knowledge of women's artistic gymnastics (vault, uneven bars, beam, floor).
Experience mentoring and developing other coaches.
Ability to plan progressive training plans across seasons.
Current CPR/AED, First Aid, and SafeSport certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead coach for up to two competitive teams and support additional teams as needed.
Lead meet preparation and competition strategy.
Coordinate Team Coach schedules and provide mentorship.
Host annual pre-team showcase.
Attend staff meetings, seasonal evaluations, and events.
Uphold academy core values and ensure athlete safety.
