Job summary

The Lead Community Support Professional (CSP) at CADES’ Adult Day Program in Newtown Square, PA, provides program leadership, daily coordination, and high-quality direct support to participants. Under the Treatment Manager, you implement ISPs, coordinate activities, and ensure safety and regulatory standards are met.

You mentor CSPs, develop daily task lists, supervise onboarding, and help plan therapeutic activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years’ experience with individuals living with multiple disabilities.
• Ability to lead informally, train, and support team members.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic records systems.
• CPR/First Aid and crisis intervention training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance, modeling, and informal support to CSPs.
• Create daily task lists and staff assignments for personal care and activities.
• Onboard, orient, and train new staff and volunteers.
• Facilitate team discussions and report to the Treatment Manager.
• Lead daily and monthly therapeutic activity planning aligned with ISPs.
• Deliver direct support and ensure safety, accessibility, and goals.
• Maintain documentation and oversee data collection by CSPs.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in drills.
