Job summary

Evapco is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee industrial cooling towers and dry coolers, with significant responsibility for electrical systems and controls integration. This role requires a strong electrical background, including hands-on experience with HVAC equipment. The position is based in Taneytown, MD, with frequent travel required. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Electrician license and have excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• Experience working with live systems in active construction or operational environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and mechanical plans.
• Understanding on on-site safety assessments, such as Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).

Responsibilities

• Support onsite commissioning, including pre-functional inspections and testing.
• Verify electrical installations on equipment including motors, VFDs, and safety devices.
• Produce clear and detailed commissioning reports and test results.

Skills

Journeyman Electrician license

Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Strong electrical background

Hands-on experience with HVAC equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skills
