Job summary
Evapco is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee industrial cooling towers and dry coolers, with significant responsibility for electrical systems and controls integration. This role requires a strong electrical background, including hands-on experience with HVAC equipment. The position is based in Taneytown, MD, with frequent travel required. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Electrician license and have excellent communication skills. Qualifications
Experience working with live systems in active construction or operational environments.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and mechanical plans.
Understanding on on-site safety assessments, such as Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Responsibilities
Support onsite commissioning, including pre-functional inspections and testing.
Verify electrical installations on equipment including motors, VFDs, and safety devices.
Produce clear and detailed commissioning reports and test results.
Skills
Journeyman Electrician license
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Strong electrical background
Hands-on experience with HVAC equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
