Job summary

FST Technical Services’ Commissioning division seeks a Project Engineer to deliver professional services for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will perform field validation, testing, submittal reviews, and design documentation evaluation across education and healthcare projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related roles, strong problem solving and client-facing abilities, and willingness to travel within the region. Salary range reflects senior responsibilities in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelors in HVACR/Mechanical/Electrical Eng or related field.
• 5+ years in maintenance, construction or engineering controls; 1+ year in Cx preferred.
• 3+ years coordinating building equipment interconnections (pumps, fans, boilers, BAS, fire alarm).
• Knowledge of drawings, specs, bid process and related docs.
• Adept at independent and team problem solving; strong verbal/written skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and execute professional services for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Manage time/expenses, document field observations, and witness tests.
• Lead cx meetings, mentor team members, and support schedule coordination.
• Assist construction teams in technical issue resolution; maintain client relations.
• Support safety programs and participation in training initiatives.
