Job summary

FST Technical Services is seeking a Commissioning Project Engineer to deliver and execute professional services for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on building projects. You will perform in-field validation, functional testing, and document findings, review submittals, and assist with design documentation evaluation.

Travel to multiple job sites within the assigned region is required. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in maintenance/construction or 1+ year in Cx, and a solid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVACR, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year in Cx or 5+ years in maintenance/construction/engineering controls.
• Experience coordinating building systems including pumps, fans, boilers, and BAS.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specs, bids and related docs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and execute professional services tasks for mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Complete field assignments, manage time and expenses, perform validation and testing.
• Prepare field observation reports, witness testing, submittal reviews and design evals.
• Lead cx meetings, manage tasks within budget, maintain client relations.
