Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Commissioning Engineer II to lead commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical systems in data centers. You will execute testing, validation, and reporting, working independently or as a lead within a team to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.

Travel across the United States is required to support projects, with a focus on delivering compliant, reliable power infrastructure. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years commissioning experience in data centers.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning of electrical/mechanical equipment and systems, including power distribution, control, and backup power systems.
• Manage commissioning projects from planning to completion, meeting timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site observations and prepare field reports on project status and compliance.
