Job summary

LF Driscoll is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead quality control and commissioning activities for critical projects. You will oversee MEP/FP/FA systems from design review through on-site testing, with emphasis on adherence to drawings, specs, and codes.

The role requires strong collaboration with project teams, commissioning agents, and subcontractors, plus hands-on field leadership, documentation, and turnover packages for occupancy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in construction or building mechanical/electrical commissioning.
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP/FA/FP design drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts and performance requirements.
• Review MEP/FA/FP drawings and documentation for code compliance.
• Lead commissioning activities including testing, performance verification and documentation.
• Monitor installations for compliance with design intent and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate corrective actions and retesting.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and test scripts with the team.
