McClure Engineering is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems on diverse facilities, including hospitals and universities. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, interpret contract documents, and develop test procedures while maintaining safety and quality.

Strong communication and proactive problem solving are essential. The role offers hybrid work options, requires 5+ years of experience in commissioning, and involves

Qualifications

• B.S.E.E. or B.S.M.E. from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of direct commissioning or related experience in facility systems and subsystems.
• Understanding of ASHRAE and LEED process; LEED AP preferred.
• Experience with control systems and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute commissioning projects on new construction and existing buildings.
• Complete commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and building automation systems.
• Prepare and review commissioning designs, forms, specs, and plans.
• Interpret drawings and specifications and verify sequences of operation.
• Develop and execute pre-functional, functional, and integrated system tests.
• Document commissioning issues and compile final commissioning reports.
• Provide project management oversight including schedule and budget controls.
