Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Commercial Superintendent to lead field operations on base building, office, retail, and interior construction projects. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment in Herndon, VA.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership, scheduling and budgeting skills, and a solid understanding of building codes and LEED practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar commercial construction role.
• Experience with base building, tenant improvements, scheduling and budgeting.
• Strong leadership and multi-project management ability.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from planning to completion.
• Coordinate daily on-site activities to meet schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Review drawings and building codes to ensure compliance.
• Maintain safety and quality control on site.
• Communicate updates to clients and team.
• Prepare project documents, schedules, budgets, and reports.
