Job summary

Exact Solar in Newtown, PA seeks an experienced Commercial Project Delivery Manager to lead a portfolio of commercial solar projects. This in-office role requires coordinating engineering, permitting, procurement, scheduling, construction, inspections, and commissioning while supporting hiring, workforce planning, and field execution.

As a key operations leader, you will foster teamwork, improve communication, and scale operations without compromising quality, customer experience, or culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of commercial solar project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial photovoltaic projects from contract award through commissioning.
• Experience managing field personnel, construction superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and installation crews on active job sites.
• Strong understanding of commercial solar construction, electrical systems, scheduling, procurement, safety, inspections, and commissioning.
• Experience coordinating engineering, permitting, utility interconnection, and AHJ inspections.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to project sites throughout our service territory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial project delivery from engineering through commissioning.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and action plans.
• Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or quality.
• Manage customer communications throughout project execution.
• Coordinate with utility companies, inspectors, engineering partners, and subcontractors.
• Support project financial performance through effective planning and execution.
• Spend time in the field supporting field staff and ensuring quality workmanship.
• Assist with workforce planning and crew utilization.
• Oversee procurement, long-lead equipment planning, and design coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational coordination across the organization.
