Solar Gaines is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to lead commercial solar and electrical control installations in the Cockeysville, MD area. You will oversee wiring, controls, and high-voltage DC systems, mentor junior electricians, and ensure code-compliant work across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• 4+ years of hands-on electrical experience on commercial power and wiring systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of NEC codes, local building regulations, and OSHA safety protocols.
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints; develop execution plans.
• OSHA 10 certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Install code-compliant electrical systems for commercial solar projects.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams for site installation.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain solar components and power systems.
• Enforce NEC standards and local regulations on all sites.
• Coach apprentices and junior electricians to maintain safety and workmanship.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet milestones on schedule.
