Job summary

Security 101 in Richmond is hiring a Lead Commercial Electronic Security Technician to install and service CCTV, access control, IP cameras, intrusion detection, and video analytics for new builds and upgrades. You will lead project installations, ensure high-quality workmanship, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires 4+ years in the field, 2+ years as a project lead, strong networking knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Minimum 4+ years’ experience installing commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarms.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as project lead responsible for complete project supervision.
Must be process oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism.
Knowledge and practical experience with networking is essential.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, configure, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
Lead a team on project installations and ensure quality control and customer satisfaction.
Track project progress and maintain documentation.
Demonstrate installation, termination, testing and maintenance of hardware from leading manufacturers.
