Job summary

Guardian Protection is seeking a Lead Commercial Installer to oversee the installation of security systems for commercial clients. You will work with sales and operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The role includes mentoring junior installers and ensuring safety protocols. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, installing cabling and devices, and commissioning cloud-based systems on customer devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial security installation experience.
• Willingness to obtain NICET certification(s) as required.
• Possess or be able to obtain fire alarm technician licenses for Ohio and West Virginia.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alone or as part of a team to complete installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
• Install cabling, field devices and controls according to specifications.
• Ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with managers and other team members to meet schedules.
• Train and mentor junior installers.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Interact professionally with owners and end users; train stakeholders in system operation.
• Commission cloud-based systems on users' mobile devices and train them in operation.
