Job summary

Guardian Protection is seeking a Lead Commercial Installer to oversee commercial security system installations including intrusion, fire, video, and access control. You will read blueprints, install cabling and devices, and ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality standards.

You’ll coordinate with management, train junior staff, ensure safety protocols are followed, and train owners in system operation. Cloud commissioning on mobile devices is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial security installation experience.
• Willingness to obtain NICET certification(s) as required.
• Possess or be able to obtain fire alarm technician licenses for Ohio and West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
• Install cabling, field devices and controls according to specifications.
• Ensure installations are completed on time and within budget and to high quality standards.
• Coordinate with managers and team members to meet schedules.
• Train and mentor junior installers.
• Follow all safety protocols at job sites.
• Interact with owners and end users, including training stakeholders in system operation.
• Commission cloud-based systems on users’ mobile devices and train them in operation.
