Job summary

Nations Roof is seeking a Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee planning, implementation and tracking of commercial roof project installation from start to finish. You will coordinate with all parties and provide frequent updates, leading foremen and subcontractors to safe, productive implementations.

The role emphasizes safety audits, quality control, documentation, and collaboration with project managers to meet contract obligations. Willingness to travel 90% of the time is required.

Qualifications

• Five years of commercial roofing experience or equivalent market, manufacturing or distribution experience servicing the commercial roofing marketplace.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English – Preferred (Written & Verbal)
• Experience managing roofing crews and roofing subcontractors.
• Experience with a wide range of commercial roofing systems and manufacturers.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam and/or construction project management experience, highly preferred.
• Read and understand specifications and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to foremen—fostering safety, teamwork, and discipline—resulting in efficient and professional roof system installation.
• Represent the company in a professional manner in all dealings with customers, personnel, and the public.
• Effectively manage all aspects of production to meet company and project goals.
• Supervise foremen to lead safe and efficient roof system installations.
• Oversee field staff and/or subcontractors, assisting with crew leadership, as required.
• Coordinate, supervise and manage subcontractors.
• Engage with customers to answer questions and provide explanations.
• Schedule daily or weekly contact with customers to review progress.
• Meet with customers to verify satisfaction with work and billing; deliver warranties.
• Review plans and sites, delegate crews and do all pre-job planning including safety plans and work plan efficiencies.
• Travel will be required 90% of the time.
