Job summary

Nations Roof, one of the largest commercial roofing contractors in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Traveling Superintendent to oversee project installation from start to finish. You will lead on‑site crews, coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, and maintain communication with clients and internal teams.

This full‑time role requires travel 100% of the time, reading blueprints, ensuring quality control, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial roofing installation experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred (written & verbal).
• Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and supervise crews and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for projects.
• Maintain communication with clients and project contacts regarding scheduling and progress.
• Verify material deliveries and inventory at job sites.
• Conduct safety oversight and toolbox talks; ensure compliance with policies.
• Complete project closeout documents and assist with quality control.
• Travel 100% of the time.

Position Overview

The Commercial Roofing Traveling Superintendent provides on-site leadership, manages crews, ensures safety compliance, and maintains communication with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include scheduling, quality control, and technical oversight to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and supervise crews and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for new and reroof projects.
• Maintain communication with clients and project contacts regarding scheduling and progress.
• Verify material deliveries and inventory at job sites.
• Conduct safety oversight and toolbox talks; ensure compliance with company policies.
• Complete project closeout documents and assist with quality control.
• Travel will be required 100% of the time.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 plus years of commercial roofing installation experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English – Highly Preferred (Written & Verbal)
• Knowledge of multiple commercial roofing systems and manufacturers.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• English fluency required; Spanish/English bilingual preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time, salaried position: $75k- $80k
