Job summary

Baker Roofing Company seeks an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Department Head to lead the service operations for a branch. The role focuses on safety, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction for commercial/industrial work, with a strong emphasis on team leadership and process improvement.

Minimum qualifications include 3–5 years in roofing leadership, a valid driver’s license, and fluency in English (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in commercial roofing leadership and service dept head roles.
• Driver's license required; fluent English; Spanish a plus.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and related trades.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe working environment for crews and subcontractors.
• Maintain and improve quality control across the department.
• Direct office and field staff; hire, train and promote employees.
• Coordinate sales efforts and support the team for success.
• Oversee work orders, aging, and invoicing processes.
• Drive department growth and customer satisfaction quarterly.
