Job summary

Roof Systems of Maine, a Tecta America Company, seeks a full-time Project Manager in Bangor, ME to estimate, schedule, operate, and manage roofing projects from cradle to grave. You will ensure timely, cost-effective work per plans, specs, and company procedures while reporting to the Operating Unit President.

The role requires 3+ years in roofing/construction, strong planning and communication, and the ability to visit job sites about 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college preferred (Construction Management).
• Minimum three (3) years of roofing or construction industry experience.
• Strong planning, organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with project management software.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to visit job sites ~50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand the contract and project scope and ensure compliance.
• Generate estimates from blueprints, specs, field notes and inspections.
• Submit proposals to customers and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Attend weekly meetings with project teams and pre-bid sessions.
• Create project budgets, submittals, equipment lists and material needs.
• Monitor costs against estimates and change orders.
• Manage contracts with subcontractors and ensure safety.
• Complete month-end WIP and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Oversee project closeouts and warranty document collection.
