Job summary

Roof Systems of Maine, a Tecta America Company, is hiring a full-time Project Manager for our Bangor, ME shop. The role oversees estimating, scheduling, and managing projects from cradle to grave, ensuring work is cost-effective and completed per plans and policies.

Qualifications include 3+ years in roofing/construction, strong planning, MS Office proficiency, and ability to visit job sites ~50% of the time. Base salary starts at $60,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of roofing or construction industry experience.
• Strong planning and organizing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and visit job sites ~50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand the contract to ensure responsibilities and scope.
• Generate estimates from blueprints, specs, field notes and inspections.
• Submit proposals to customers and communicate with owners, architects and contractors.
• Maintain budgets, submittals, equipment needs, purchase orders and manpower.
• Handle safety issues and perform pre-job safety analyses.
• Monitor costs against estimates and change orders; manage closeouts.
