Job summary

National Coatings is seeking an experienced painting supervisor to lead commercial project teams in the Wilmington area. You will oversee surface preparation, priming, sealing, and finishing across diverse substrates while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will manage field crews of 5–10, perform tool maintenance, document daily activities, and coordinate change orders. Strong communication and a track record of reliable on-site leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial painting, including proven supervisory or foreman experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in painting and construction.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field crews of 5–10 workers and ensure safe, productive performance.
• Lead surface preparation, priming, sealing, and painting across multiple substrates.
• Manage equipment maintenance and timely repair of tools and systems.
• Ensure accurate documentation including reports, timecards, and field production data.
• Process field change orders and tickets efficiently.
• Represent National Coatings professionally on client sites.
