Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks an experienced Project Manager for Maryland commercial interiors projects. You will lead projects from preconstruction through completion, coordinating with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong drywall/interior systems experience, understands budgets and schedules, reads construction drawings, and maintains excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction project management required.
• Strong drywall / interior systems background preferred.
• Understanding of project budgets, schedules, contracts, and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and overall performance.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Review contracts, construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, financial performance, and profitability.
• Coordinate project activities with field personnel and installation teams.
• Track project progress and ensure key milestones are maintained.
• Identify and resolve project issues throughout the construction process.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and project partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
• Support project closeout and completion activities.
