Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Universal EPA Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, pneumatic and digital controls.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment including built‑up systems, package units, boilers, chillers, and control systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on various HVAC systems.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and solutions.
• Follow troubleshooting guides to identify problems efficiently.
• Ensure systems meet safety and operational standards before completing service.
• Mentor junior technicians both in person and over the phone.
• Assist in coordinating and managing ongoing service projects.
• Complete daily service reports accurately and obtain customer signatures.
• Stay current with technical knowledge through training and self-study.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and adhere to scheduled maintenance.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Service Supervisor and Service Manager, this role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is experienced, motivated, and ready to take ownership of their work while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
