Job summary

TMR – A Tech24 Company is seeking a Lead Installer – HVAC & Refrigeration to manage commercial installations from start to finish in the Hammond/Baton Rouge area. You will troubleshoot, install, and commission systems while ensuring safety and quality per manufacturer standards.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in both HVAC and refrigeration, leadership ability, and readiness to travel regionally. Company vehicle, perquisites, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on installation experience in both commercial HVAC and commercial refrigeration.
• Experience leading installation projects or overseeing teams.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• EPA Universal certification preferred or required depending on work.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform commercial HVAC and refrigeration installations from start to finish.
• Install, connect, and commission HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, piping, controls, and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve installation issues in the field while ensuring safety and codes compliance.
• Lead and coordinate the work of other technicians or installers on projects.
• Communicate project status and progress to customers and managers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of labor and materials.
