Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead commercial installation projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
Install and replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and duct systems.
Read blueprints, job specifications, and installation plans to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
Verify proper airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and overall system performance.
Perform equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and final quality inspections.
Communicate with customers, project managers, and team members throughout the installation process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Complete installation documentation accurately and on time.
