Job summary

Kelley Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site activities in Lexington, KY. The role focuses on managing schedules, budgets, safety, and coordination with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, and architects.
• Strong managerial skills.
• Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Team player.
• Ensuring that safety practices are followed on the job site.
• Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsible construction schedule and budget
• Maintain a safe jobsite for all Kelley Construction and subcontractor employees
• Represent the company as Best-in-Class in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors and inspectors
• Ability to effectively use different computer software to complete daily tasks such as expense approval for receipts, pictures, email, site management, time entry, etc.
• Communicate with Kelley Construction office and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with owner/client vendors when needed
• All other duties assigned by Field Operations Director
