Job summary

Kelley Construction is a Louisville-based general contractor providing commercial and industrial services, including restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, and design-build expansions.

The on-site Superintendent will manage daily construction activities, uphold safety, monitor schedules and budgets, and coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, and architects.
• Strong managerial and organizational skills.
• Experience with concrete, framing and finish carpentry.
• Familiarity with company computer software and time-entry processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsible construction schedule and budget.
• Maintain a safe jobsite for all Kelley Construction and subcontractor employees.
• Represent the company as Best-in-Class in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors and inspectors.
• Ability to effectively use different computer software to complete daily tasks such as expense approval for receipts, pictures, email, site management, time entry, etc.
• Communicate with Kelley Construction office and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with owner/client vendors when needed.
• All other duties assigned by Field Operations Director.
