Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on our Wooster, OH-based projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality on-site.

Ideal candidates have extensive superintendent experience in commercial construction, strong reading of drawings, and a track record of coordinating diverse teams. Procore experience is preferred, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction experience as a Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and managing field operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, site personnel, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular quality-control and safety inspections.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate site logistics.
• Identify potential project issues and implement solutions to maintain schedule and quality.
• Work closely with Project Managers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, and project records.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements on site.
