Job summary

L&L Builders seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations in Heidelberg, PA. You will supervise subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are on time and within budget while coordinating with project managers and clients.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and supporting quality control across all phases of construction. Travel to job sites in and around Pittsburgh may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Solid knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control to keep projects on track financially.
• Proficient in project management, planning, communication, and progress tracking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations, manage construction sites, and supervise subcontractors.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate project activities, conduct site inspections, enforce safety standards, and communicate with project managers, clients, and trade partners.
• Review plans and specifications, track progress, maintain documentation, and support quality control.
• Resolve on-site issues, assist with scheduling and procurement, and contribute to process improvements.
